Your donation can help Victim Advocates spend more time helping victims.
Victim services agencies across the nation are the first responders for anyone who has suffered a crime. However recent cuts in funding and the COVID 19 pandemic has caused financial distress for these essential services agencies
Trailwood Foundation Inc., is a non-profit agency that was established to aid those agencies that help victims of crime. Every dollar raised will be utilized to provide professional training in grant writing, grant management, building sustainable programs, strategic planning and other training that will help agencies with capacity building.
Victim service professionals will be able to attain FREE specialty training in direct service delivery on topics such domestic violence, human trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation of children, immigration relief for undocumented victims of crime, stalking, child abuse, vicarious trauma and much more.
In addition, we will provide technology enhancement to victim service professionals to give them the most current software and technology needs to help them continue providing essential services that are very much needed.
The COVID 19 pandemic showed us that we need to enhance technology in the victim services field and that crime did not stop during these trying times. As a matter of fact, many crimes increased during the pandemic putting an emphasis on helping those that dedicate their time to serve the people impacted by crime.
Funding cuts have affected thousands victim services agencies across the nation, please help us help those who care for victims of crime.
Victim Services Agencies depend on grants that can suffer budget cuts, and this affects their operational needs. Funding is mostly used for direct services leaving agencies to struggle to purchase other things they need to operate programs.
We need your help to raise funds to provide the advocate community with these benefits. A donation of any size will really help make an impact because for every advocate who is able to get access to this support, multiple victims are helped.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to helping those agencies that dedicate their time to help those that have been impacted by crime and violence
